Round 50, Hour 3

Another hour!  This hour's official shade of gold will be Cozy Firelight.  You may substitute candlelight if you prefer.

Astute attendees may have guessed by now that I am not actually here at the moment, because I had an unexpected obligation requiring me to be AFK for part of the beginning of the round.  I'm really hoping these scheduled posts appear as they're supposed to, or my face will be 50 shades of scarlet when I get back online.

How go the words?  Do you have a gilded tongue?  A gilded cage?  A gilt complex?

ETA:  Also, I am actually here now, and duly embarrassed at getting the time change wrong.  Gah.

I went out for a walk around town with my aunt! :D I hadn't had any proper not-panicky exercise in far too long. :D Also we found out there's a Zumba class nearby on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and we're going to a class next Tuesday and try it out. :D

Welcome back! :D I still haven't figured out which timezone Arizona is in during DST versus during Standard Time. (Arizona is the only state in the US which does not observe DST, and as such, it plays jumprope with the Mountain/Pacific timezone divide every spring and fall. ^_^) So I didn't even notice anything was wrong; therefore I declare that it was not. XD

There is a wonderful add-on to Firefox, called Foxclocks, which I recommend highly. You can use it to place a cute little row of times and flags at the bottom of your browser, and you'll always know what time it is in various places. It won't help you if you're too distracted to consult it, of course.

(At the moment, it is 1:39 am in London, 12:39 pm Saturday in Sydney, Australia, and 6:39 pm Friday in Seattle. I don't currently have Arizona in the selection.)

Hello.

Late start for me since I was babysitting my toddler grandson, stuffing him full of chicken and raisins and crackers and cheese as I cooked supper.

so, for Fic Rush this time I want to go over a chapter and send it off to my beta, beta another chapter for a friend, and at some point edit the next file of a podfic. Re-read my Avenger fic and maybe start writing the second part of it, something I've been a bit blocked about for a while, but then I realized I was blocked because this part was done. It was time to change POVs and move ahead.

I think I need a break from my SGU fic. Need to really think about if I want to take it where I want to go, but maybe that's not the best thing for the story. Could be too self-indulgent.
