The fam is well. Taxes are stupid. Sleep is necessary. These are the things I have learned the last hour.

Off to do adult things like grocery shopping before I want to go and take a nap and then there's nothing to eat...

It's sunny but really windy out! It's also only 42F so I can't go sit on my deck yet.

No words yet. Trying to decide whether I should make more headway on my real-life to-do list first or if I should buckle down and start writing.

Nononono, taxes are fun! (I am a numbers geek. Also, taxes are a Cunning Method of getting money back to people who need it.)

This is very true, I just find them confusing especially since I have to do federal as well as taxes in at least 2 if not 3 states.

Ah, state taxes suck and are stupid. State income taxes are NOT fun. (I've mostly lived in states without them, but I prepare taxes for people in states with state taxes. State taxes suck.)

I got about 300 words done all day but I did read through and edit 5k. Twice. Maybe tomorrow it'll be the other way around, 5k of writing for a tiny amount of editing...

I learned some stuff about underground electric fences to contain unruly dogs.

I relearned that writing is hard and procrastination is easy.

503 words since my last checkin. This last part shouldn't be that hard to write but it's like slogging through mud.
