Actually, I was.  Speaking of which:  can anyone tell me the names of any really tall alien races from Doctor Who?

I was seconds away from usurping! And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling kids! (sorry, I read a Scooby Doo AU earlier. Actually, I'm not sorry.)

I've seen about 5 episodes of Doctor Who...but star whales are pretty tall I'd assume!

Slitheen

There's a few more tall to tallish races in Doctor Who, but I'm blanking on them right now. The Slitheen make a rather, memorable, impression though.

The Silence (Silents?) are pretty tall. Also Morbius. Um, the Kandyman? Anything less ridiculous? Sycorax were tall.

The Sycorax were tall, but not hugely tall. The one that fought Ten in The Christmas Invasion was only maybe a half foot taller than Tennant himself?

Nimon were taller than Four so that's pretty tall... Uh... the Zygons weren't short...
