I'm sooo close to being done! I just have to line the tulle skirt. Which will take forever...

You're lining a tulle skirt? Whyyyyy . . . ? Or, rather, why not just use an underskirt? Underskirts make great underlayers!

By 'line' I meant trim... which is arguably worse lol But that's what the costume demands!

Argh -- I'm trying to find a full-length image that actually shows the skirt detail, and all I can find is the upper body. What little I can see of the peplum skirt looks as if it's trimmed with a hem detail (plus sparkles, which are easy enough), but I can't find anything that shows the underskirt hem.

I know it's been maddening trying to find that and the actual length. I'm pretty sure I found everything but in bits and pieces.

Okay, it looks as if the underskirt is full-length, and if it's decorated, nobody needs to know. The overskirt is edged with narrow scalloped lace with a metallic gold accent. On the bright side, if you apply the trim and it leaves the hem badly stiffened, that will just make it look more like the original costume!

In your position, I'd probably topstitch the lace on, and use paint for the metallic gold accent.

I love the robot arm . . . !

I just finished sewing on the trim, so too late! :P but yeah I debated whether or not I wanted to attach the tulle to the dress or just wear it over, but I'm already afraid of ripping it so I think I'll just wear it over.

I'm so excited for the arm! My friend just bought the silver body paint :D

Whoops, I accidentally 2000 words. Which is good from the point of view of the rough draft of the fic typed up, but bad from how many words I'm supposed to type up at once, so am now going to bed and hoping for the best.

Thanks! ♥ I'm a bit headachy, but not too bad - as long as I'm much more careful today, all should be well, I hope. Which is very good. There was a time when 2000 words would have killed all my brain for a month. *hugs JT*
