For my current round of procrastination, I've been wandering around on Amazon.  My excuse is that I have a birthday gift card that's not going to spend itself.  Also, I'm buying books about writing.

What's your excuse?  Alternately, what's your favourite book about writing?  (Please do not say "Strunk & White", because that would be sad.)

My excuse is that I have no drafting paper. Or tape measurer. Or tape.

I can already tell I'm going to have a story to tell when I'm finished.

(Also belated happy birthday!)

It was a toss-up between my Hello Kitty duct tape and my electrical tape. duct tape would have been more BAMF, but bumpier, so I went with the electrical tape. Which was not happy to help. At least my sketch board is cooperating!

My excuse is The West Wing running in the background. ^_^ (Because my housemates find it easier to write with a soundtrack.)

I've... not got my chronology restructured, but decided to ditch it and fudge, and start the Actual Writing (Draft Edition). Or rather, transcribe the scribbly writing I did before then.

Oh, God. This is awful. I'm happy enough with the beginning, but the middle is going to be a struggle, and the ending...well, it's a toss-up as to whether it will be harder or easier than the middle. It'll still suck either way, I'm afraid.

Sometimes writing to someone else's prompt is a great thing. Other times, not so much.

The ending is the part I don't want to write, so I might as well work on the middle!

Good morning! I woke up 5 am just so I could join the early hours of Fic Rush :)

Books about writing? My favorite kind! (if only I reread them once in a while, that would help) Have you find anything interesting?

I have Spunk & Bite! I like it :)
...and if I remember correctly, I think you might have recommended it? Was it?

JT says I should get you started on Strunk & White, which I actually quite like. *interested face*

That said, my favorite writing book is probably Worlds of Wonder, by David Gerald. And also, I have hit the "please knock me unconscious" stage of comps. OH GOD.
