I've gotten about 300 words written so far tonight, but it's getting sprawly -- I may have to do a lot of cutting. Later.

Slow going over here, I keep getting interrupted - still, I've managed to scribble a page into such a mess with additions and little arrows and things circled and crossed out that something may come of it. This plot feels like three plots duking it out for supremacy and I'm not sure which plot-points will win in the long run.

I've got one of those. (Which is why I'm writing a college application essay instead of it.) It has Three and Merlin and one of the X-Men and a Vortex Manipulator and the Brig, except I've never SEEN a vortex manipulator and I'm having trouble writing this particular X-Man. And Jo has invited herself along for the adventure, except I find I can't WRITE Jo - she's always just struck me as kind of fluffy-headed and useless. I'm a Liz fan. But the vignette I repurposed for an opening scene is most definitely Jo, and I don't want to drop it...
