Well, "kiratarixi" is certainly a word I've never needed to use in a sentence before.

It's the Ashaninka word for a shrub that grows in the Amazon basin, that can be used for the treatment of septic wounds. An example of having one tiny crumb of information that can be used to represent an entire body of data.

Oh neat. If I am ever badly cut while in the Amazon basin and there's an Ashanika nearby, I'll know exactly what to do!

Heh. It's kind of embarrassing... I've restarted this chapter so often that I can't remember which draft is the last... but I'm glad I kept them all. There's something good in each version.

It also helps that my beta-reader has the patience of a saint! lol!
