Welcome to Hour 3 of the Ultimate Round of Life, the Universe, and Everything -- otherwise known as Fic Rush! Yes, we answer all your questions here, and we don't even have to construct a giant computer out of the Earth to do it! (Unless, of course, that's exactly what we did do several billion years ago . . . *evil laugh*)

This is my last hour of modding for the round, but hopefully the other mods will continue with our theme of galactic domination, followed by drinks. If not, feel free to galactically dominate on your own, followed by drinks.

What if I want drinks first, followed by galactic domination? I always feel much more like dominating galaxies after a few drinks.

Drunk galactic dominating is not recommended. Proceed at your own risk, and remember that if you drink before you have achieved galactic domination, you have to pay for your own drinks.

Actually, I'm given to understand that it's difficult to operate heavy machinery without power. Power-assisted heavy machinery is the best heavy machinery.

Drinks then fabric cutting? Panicflail! But your skill level at the latter is far superior to my rather haphazard efforts. Cutting is like the least favourite thing I have about sewing.

Also, I drinked. Which probably shows in the rambling. Good luck, leave a good looking seam allowance!

I did rearrange a couple of opening paragraphs, re-read the whole thing, and tighten two sentences, but now quite frankly I'm going to go forth and be horizontal with my eyes closed. See y'all tomorrow.

I have dominated my own little portion of the galaxy by finishing and posting a Super Scholarly Post about poetry. Now to write something! And then write a Super Scholarly Post about Hawkeye's butt on M*A*S*H.

Laurie, reporting to fic rush after being AWOL for the day and most of the evening. It's my thirty-third wedding anniversary today and we drove to the big city and saw Man of Steel and went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant.

Also, some time was spent looking for the turtle that my husband rescued from our gigantic puppies and that we both forgot he had just sat down on the floor.

I found him under some furniture when we came back home. He's now back outside but he managed to function as a Roomba first, since he was covered in dust bunnies. Oops. I should make a note to stick the duster under where Mr. Turtle had wandered off to and collect whatever dust bunnies are still under there.

Writing. I want to finish an action scene for an Avengers fic involving a dragon, and then switch to a Sentinel Big Bang that I have not written a single word for yet.

Podficcing. I'll probably also be editing a podfic.
