Greeting Fic_Rushers! I emerge from disgrace (self-assigned) to join you in this and the next few hours of Round 41.

I've been very busy with two new kittens who are teaching me new levels of patience, love, and sleep-deprivation. Not really! Kittens love to take naps, even more than adult kitties. We nap happily together! What worries me is this new tendency to ignore gravity. Jumping is their new toy, and everything that was safely above the "kitten safe zone" must now be removed or raised.

So, I'm not caught up yet on the happenings this Round. I shall back-read and absorb, while you tell me how your writing is progressing, or what your major distractions might be.

Mine are currently clawing their way up my bare ankles. Excuse me.... ouch!
