Well, it has been a fun fic_rush! I am off to bed now, having accomplished exactly 0 words, even on icons, but that was okay. I modded, commented and so on.

I might, in honour of the rush, now write a few words longhand in my notebook. Or not.

My words aren't behaving at all. Not fitting together the way I want them to, running away when I need them, chewing a hole through my favorite sweater - curse them! *shakes fist*

Despite these tribulations, I think I've managed to finish a fic. I'm not very happy with the beginning. Or the end. I'm fair chuffed about the middle, though, so I'm calling it a win.

And then I'm calling in a beta. :p

I'll send the fic that is most troubling me over your way for some TLC. It's part of a potential loosely-connected series, and I feel like I need to get it solid before I attempt the others.
