Round 35, Hour 11

I still haven't heard anything from Glinda so I'm just going to keep posting hourly til she shows up or the next mod shows up  (Who I think may be Beth but I'd have to check the schedule to be sure). So how was productivity this hour? I for one didn't do much :D Now I need to get on with mini nano words for the day and stop procrastinating. We'll see how well that goes :D Anyway drop me a  comment and let me know how your hour was and whether I can do anything to help. After all I am equip with gifs if necessary :D Just say the magic word :D

I'm here, writing and not watching telly, no, not at all, what do you mean the telly is on and right there? Appalling accusation! :D

Also, one more cup of tea and then I have to go to the grocery store to buy some food for the evening. All this cooking in the telly makes me want to eat :D

Lol I'm not accusing you of watching television. Just like I'm not watching the movie I've put more than writing my fic :D

Another cup of tea sounds like a plan. And you should probably get food. There's no need to starve :D And the same thing happens to me when I watch too much of the Food Channel. I just need to cook and eat cause that's all I've been seeing :D

I've just woken up (apparently going to bed at eight is good for something after all, ALL THE SLEEP I HAS IT), so if you want me to take over part of Glinda's shift for you, I can do that! :-)

...actually I've found another hole in the schedule (http://fic-rush.livejournal.com/53003.html), good grief. *tries to math* Okay, this post right here is the 10am GMT post, am I right? Glinda's shift runs till 1pm GMT, which is about 11pm your time and 8am my time.

After 8am I have to be out and doing things, or I MAY have to; my schedule isn't really settled till I phone my mum, and she's not up yet. HOWEVER: Beth's slot after Glinda's looks like this on the schedule:

Beth (Her Modliness)
first post 2 pm GMT (noon EST Sat) (Hour 15)
last post 5 pm GMT (1 pm EST Sat)

The GMT listing appears to be correct - at least it runs all the way from Glinda's to Verity's listed shift - but what is this EST stuff I can't even. *counts on fingers*

The correct EST for Beth's shift, as far as I can figure out, is 9am to noon EST - which is midnight to 3am your time, Don. I'll be rather surprised if Beth is up and modding that early-for-her on a Saturday morning, especially given that the EST listing there doesn't indicate she realized what time it really was locally...

...so you may need to be prepared to call for a stunt mod if you want to get to bed tonight. I'm just sayin'. (I would totally volunteer if I didn't have ALL THE THINGS to get done this morning and most of them require me to be offline. :P)

ETA: Or, you know, I can take over the back end of Glinda's shift and then just call for a stunt mod myself. *shrugs*

Ok this is a long comment so if I get something wrong forgive me :D

Umm firstly the math for my hours is off on the schedule. Australia is currently +11 hours GMT (thanks to day light savings) and the schedule has it for +10 hours which I only realised today before my shift started :D So the last hour of Glinda's shift would be midnight my time :D

I've learnt to take all the time math with a pinch salt cause sometime Beth gets it wrong (and who can blame her. It would a hard job for anyone and she has amazing modding abilities :D). Though it would really surprise me if she got her own time frame wrong.

I know I'd be able to do at least the next two hours of this shift so I see no reason why I can't go all the way to midnight, it means I'll be sleeping in tomorrow. If Beth doesn't show up for her hours though I'll defiantly call on someone. You should do what you need to do and don't need to worry. We'll figure it out, we always do here, and we understand when people can't do their shifts.

Overall (and I'm hoping this makes sense) I should be able to finish Glinda's shift if nothing else. If I do have to cover for Beth I will be calling on a back up mod :D So go and do what you need to do :D

Okay! :D I know nothing of Australian timezones. (And yeah, I doubt anyone could get ALL the timezone math right all the time.)

Thank you for the offer though, I don't think I said that :D And since I'm the only regular Australian most of the time I'm only one who can get it right :D (But not all the time like with this round :D)
