One more hour!  Gogogo!!  We still have time and cookies, and we can fetch a fresh supply of aardvarks if anyone needs them.

For my part, I actually finished the chapter I've been dragging my ass on for weeks!  (Except for one minor bit I have to ask my firearms expert about.)

Um also if you finished a chapter does that mean... :D :D :D

My short is Man from Uncle, Illya-centric. It probably doesn't suck horribly, but I've got to make sure that the handwavy plot sticks together enough without distracting the reader from the introspective what-not that's the whole point of the story. Never my favourite balance to find.

Yes, send me your chapter so that I might marvel at it, and then nitpick it. And I will send you this thing that I cannot look over even one more time myself. (Pro tip: If you write something that has a kind of claustrophobic atmosphere, the ceiling totally starts closing in over your head after the eighth read through.)

Pfft, usually I spend way more time laughing or gasping because I see what you did there, or gripping the edge of my seat because I'm dying to know what happens next than I do finding flaws. Mostly I want to get my hands on the chapter so I can gleefully devour it!
