I was sucked into a black hole for the last hour. No? Would you believe I was sucked into reading about dumb shit on the Internet?

Same dif.

but now I'm making a pot of coffee and am vaguely getting interested in finding out what happens next in my story, so hopefully there will be words on screen happening soon.

Reading about dumb shit on the internet only differs from a black hole in the amount of light available (since you need light to read by). Also, you can eventually escape from the former, unless it's TV Tropes.

I've been to that pit of absolute suck-you-in-for-days that goes by the name of TV Tropes before, and was lucky to emerge, dazed and blinking.

I think I followed the light back out of the depths of the Internet this morning. Also, the smell of coffee helped to get me up out of the chair. I love google, I love being able to research stuff so easily, but Lord, it's so easy to get sidetracked into reading about dogs with sunglasses and other totally useless crap.

Ah, I cruised a couple of Tumblr posts that were on the web this morning. I luckily don't have an account or spend time trying to bounce around on it, but I'll look if there's a link about something that's pretty.

And thanks, it's good to be back out and doing some writing instead of reading stuff that rots the brain, it's so STUPID.
