First hour! Introduce yourselves and your fic. What are your writing goals this weekend? Feel free to say hi to each other and stuff like that.

Then start writing!

Congratulations on raising money for Haiti! Martha/Master sounds challenging, but I bet you can do it!

Ooh, you did help_haiti too!

(I actually have a deadline extension on mine, due to the aforementioned - or maybe after-mentioned, this threading thing is confusing - actor death throwing me off my game. But maybe, just possibly, I won't need it.)

Hello! I probably won't be able to join in until tomorrow morning, but I wanted to say hi right at the start and wish everyone a happy fic_rush!

When I do join in, my goal is to WRITE. I have 10 Doctor Who prompts ready and waiting to go, and I plan to write as many of them as possible. Obviously this means that most of the fics will be fairly short, but if I don't get to them all because one has turned into a longer story, then that's great too!

I've had vacationing muses for awhile now, so I am planning to turn off all worries about whether the writing is any good and just seeing how many of those 10 prompts I can do.

Case in point: something went wrong with the grammar in that last sentence, but I will resist fixing it. However, I won't resist saying that I realize something went wrong. : )

Hi! I didn't officially sign up, but I've been eying this for a while. I have to grab dinner real quick, but then I'm in! My goal is to finish up my HP Hermione/Sirius smuttyfic, Silence Speaks (http://pelespen.livejournal.com/tag/silence%20speaks) (it will be NC-17, so be warned).

Oh, I totally forgot there was a fic_rush round this weekend! Really useful for me right now, actually. Writing goals: write the two ficlets I owe people from, uh, the first help_haiti lightning round (one of them confirmed their donation late; the other one just gave me so many awesome prompts it took me ages to choose, and I still want to write two of them), and another ficlet I owe somebody else for a different charity auction where they won me months ago. Those are all American Idol RPF, Adam/Kris/Katy and Adam/Kris.

I also want to finish the outline for a story I so should not be working on (RPF, John Mayer/Taylor Swift). I'm halfway through it right now.

Hi! I've been watching [livejournal.com profile] fic_rush for a while now but haven't been able to participate due to bad timing. (Though I should be studying for math and physics tests this weekend instead of writing....) I'm going to try and balance the two this weekend.

I plan to work on my [livejournal.com profile] au_bigbang because I'm woefully behind on the word count. Also on the table are some personal requests from a meme I posted in my journal and if I get those done then whatever else I have backlogged.

Evening, I shall be writing (epic) Merlin fic this weekend. (Because, you know, when you're running a finishathon, its helpful if you actually finish something yourself too...)

Unless of course the Dr Who plot bunnies that have been attacking me all week eat me first...

What's this finishathon you speak of? I dearly need something like that in my life.

Tis over at Image (http://camelot-fleet.dreamwidth.org/profile)camelot_fleet (http://camelot-fleet.dreamwidth.org/), but it finishes on Sunday (hence the panic-filled last minute writing)... :(

Hee you've seen Merlin! (Midnight really won't be the same) I'm writing epic Morgana & Gwen on a quest fic apparently (so far I've written 68 words, the finishathon's vague deadline is...Sunday...*runs around panicing*)

I found the comm. It's [livejournal.com profile] camelot_fleet where Merlin fans come to finish their stuff. I'm sad it's one fandom specific.

Oh my gosh, I totally forgot fic_rush started tonight!

(But it comes at exactly the right time - I mean exactly. I'm just now getting back into a fic-writing mood; Pernell Roberts, aka Adam Cartwright on Bonanza, died two weeks ago and I haven't written anything since I heard except a tribute piece.)

Um. Anyway. Sorry to be a downer on the post. My point is: I have lots of prompts to write!

I'm hoping to concentrate on my [livejournal.com profile] help_haiti fic. Which is for [livejournal.com profile] clocketpatch, so I might not mention too many of the details... but it's a Doctor Who/X-Men crossover, and it's rather cracky.

I also might try to write a TARDIS POV piece for [livejournal.com profile] halfamoon, which is "a two-week celebration of female characters in fandom". And they specificially said sentient female spaceships are allowed. (I just have to keep her from eyeing up Three's, um, posterior too blatantly... I have weird ficcing problems.)

Then I have:
* a Doctor Who/MacGyver/Gilligan's Island crossover, which may or may not include Man From UNCLE at some point;
* a possible "Three meets a school group on a field trip" fic for [livejournal.com profile] primsong;
* a Sapphire & Steel/Three Investigators crossover which kind of has no plot at the moment and I really wonder if anyone will even know what I'm talking about anyway. But I want it to happen.
* Or that TARDIS POV fic might turn into a set of drabbles celebrating female spaceships... or female vehicles in general... I has vehicle love. In many fandoms.

And various other things.

(Now that I've spent most of the first hour writing my intro post...)

No, I haven't seen Farscape. But I have a deep and abiding love for the Millennium Falcon. (Also for the "Batman Begins" Batmobile - did you know the one used for filming could actually do in reality everything we see it do onscreen? I think they faked the waterfall jump for safety, but they didn't have to... yes, I have a serious vehicle!crush on her.)
