I think I'm going to need to rethink the climax, which was 400 words of my previous count, but I've written about 400 new words - and what's more, they actually fill in the gap between what I had before I started and part of what I wrote that I'm keeping!

(Which is good, because that transition is what had me stymied. Mostly.)
