I decided to ignore the part of my prompt for klaine_endgame that stated the authors they liked to read/the writing style of and started writing. I got 181 words. I'm pretty happy with that.

I got a bit of tidying up of the bit before the bit I have to write next done. Then I got kidnapped to go to the mall and buy a party frock. Which doesn't even slightly count as research, but does count as having a party frock, a task which needed accomplishing.

Now I just have to sort out why my guys say they are going out the window when I edited out the scenario months ago that made the door untenable. Um guys? "Looks like the window's our best way out." just makes you look loony now that you didn't booby trap the door. So you can put that climbing rope away!

It is. It's hard to go from going to Starbucks on a sunny day, to writing what I hope will have one foot firmly in psychological horror. My brain is kind of fluffy right now. Shippy, shippy fluff.
