I'm back! I've got The Blues Brothers on and I'm planning on grabbing a quick bite and then settling down with a cuppa to really get some fic underway! I've got three docs open though, heh. Apparently I am undecided on which fic to write?
I have at least kind of started taking planning a bit seriously. If only because the new toy I was procrastinating with just broke. You know that thing where you have themes and relationship angles and vague thoughts on plot twists and absolutely no idea what actually happens, especially at the start? That is my fic.
Usually I can either plan something, or actually finish it. It's my curse. Hopefully I'm being vague enough with this one to not jinx it.
...If you actually want plots, maybe you should team up with someone like me.
I've decided to write and then scrap a first scene between my two main characters just to sort out how exactly they feel about each other at this point. Then I'll have a wordcount and hopefully a starting point will result. Here goes.
I tend to just stick to character-based stories :) Long plotty things are beyond me, but that's okay. I'm always in awe of people who can do it, though!
