Whoops, I was caught up in doing things that I probably shouldn't have been doing but it relates to my fic :D Anyway... How did you go this hour? Does anyone need anything? I have tea and timtams at my place if you can find your teleportation device. And have a gif or two :D

I use it for both, but especially the first one - as in "Warning, I am killing off a canon character here". (...so I have a couple of tribute fics labeled that way, with actually who dies in the summary, because it's not going to be a surprise when the whole fandom's buzzing about the actor dying. ;P) I tend to use "spoilers for episode X.xX" instead for a death that happened in canon, with "canon character death" as well only if the death / aftermath is a central focus of the story.

'Course, I write tiny stories, and I like to warn for EVERYTHING. YMMV. ;P

So the answer is basically both, then? At least I can stop being confused.

"Spoilers for x.xx" or explaining it's a tribute would be a whole lot less ambiguous, in that case.

Thanks.
