Round 27, Hour 41

Hour 41 we are in it!

Caffeine seems to be causing some mischief and some delight as is its usual wont. Housework is rearing its necessary head. How is the words-on-paper-or-a-screen part of the day going for you?

Two out of four pages rewritten! I was hoping I would post a chapter tonight, but I don't know, that goal is still so so far away...

my hour of chores morphed into an hour and a half. So I get an hour and a half of writing.

I'm currently drinking sludge that is pretending to be coffee. It's better than nothing, but I swear, if the nearest coffee house wasn't a good sixty miles from here, I'd be on my way.


I did the dishes, dusted, swept, put a few things away. I did not fix the vacuum cleaner.

On to writing!

I have read my 600-odd words from last night, and they were Not Bad Akshully. I'm polished a few bits, figured out where it goes from there, and am now pondering where it has to come from. (I jumped ahead and simply started writing at random mid-chapter.)

Lunch, I think, is next. If I were Turtle, it would probably be a late dinner or maybe breakfast, but I'm not. Also, I'm far less hurty today, and I hope to remain so, even after eating.

Ooh 600 Not Bad Akshully words is definitely an upgrade over 600 Haven't Re-read Yet words! I'm glad you're finding a rhythm.

My lunch revolted on me. But I have had sufficient toast to carry on for now.

I'm up and awake and catching up on everything. Food next, and then I'm going to be concentrating on a WIP that I've been working on (or mostly not working on) for AGES. I've got an additional scene to finish, one of the original scenes to expand, and a slew of beta notes to ponder. It would be astonishing if I actually finished this, or at least got it ready for another round of beta notes. I will contemplate that pleasant idea while I go stuff my face. :-)
