1. Revisit that one short story with the one character now I just got done watching a movie that might help with thinking about counterculture during said character's misspent youth. (More drugs!!)
2. Blow some stuff up in that one story Beth would probably like me to finish some day.
3. Finish the thing that was supposed to be a quick, fun h/c project.

So, you know. Writing is evil and basically sucks. And I'm going to cut that all out and save it in a document in case it comes in handy later.

Date: 2012-03-24 12:10 am (UTC)I have a fic due April 15th to finish up, may try my hand at some Five Things due Monday, would like to contribute to some languishing fic trees, will probably write some commentfic prompts, have a snippet of a story that needs a beginning (and then if I can't think of an ending I'll plant it as a fic tree and hope someone else will make it grow), and have a WIP that has moss growing on it that deserves some love.

Date: 2012-03-24 12:12 am (UTC)Also, made a huge pot of awesome, depression style soup. (cheap, cheap, cheap, made with stuff I grew or was given or was on sale, for the most part) I filled my pressure canner with the stuff. I could start my own soup kitchen.
My main goal for writing is to get cracking on the Sentinel reverse Bang story that I have to check in for tomorrow and the whole rough draft is due on April 7. It doesn't have to be long, but I think it's going to end up between 20,000 to 40,000 word. We only had to have 2,000. So far, I have come up with a title and sort of a plot.

1. Recover some of my sanity. I lost it somewhere this week.
2. Finish my Summer of Stargate first draft! I will do it! I swear I will! (I need 5,700 more words/5 more scenes).
3. Stargateland challenges to write (a group of short fics).
4. Work on anyone of my AUs, fusions or crossovers that is sitting around waiting for me.
5. Watch the Star Trek reboot movie and Mean Girls with my brother and sister and have ice cream and go swimming and running (that would be family time, lol).

Date: 2012-03-24 01:12 am (UTC)My main goal for today is to outline and do a chapter breakdown for an AU post-canon fic I'm doing - it's long and it's plottier than what I've written before, and I want to have an idea what I'm doing with it.
And given how slow I've been at writing, just getting an outline done will be an accomplishment.

Date: 2012-03-24 05:05 am (UTC)One of the things I'm doing is a Transformers AU, but to be extra-ambitious I've also decided that this'll be a good chance to sort through the plot of that one Third-Doctor-era adventurefic I was writing and try to figure out where it's supposed to be going. Granted, even getting a solid outline on that one instead of a pile of plot points will be an achievement, but progress is progress!
