I wrote 600 words. Which apparently I have to double over the next twenty four hours. :D

Also, I corralled me a bonsai giraffe, but it escaped. Guess the mesh of the net was too big.

You do have to double the 600 words. If you don't, the halfway point will become meaningless, and you will be responsible for a huge hole in fic_rush.

Of course, maybe the huge fic_rush hole is how the bonsai giraffe escaped.

I have lots of stash yarn and fabric I can use to make a pretty patch for the fic_rush hole. I think pure silk is probably impermeable to giraffes. At least, the very tiny ones.

If it's very pretty silk, the bonsai giraffes will at least stop and chew on it. That will slow them down so we can catch them!

I have a fat quarter of black silk brocade with cherry blossoms on it. I think that would suffice for giraffes - practically leafy.

I am beginning to get a strange feeling about this round of rush.
