Now that I have finished some "research" (watching a show *cough*), I'm beginning to plan my next scene.

What is your favorite way to get ready to write? Do you have a routine? Do you plan things out in advanced or do you just let them come to you?

656 words!!!! Awesome. Brings me past the total I had wanted for today, but not nearly enough to stave off some of the yuletide panic starting to set in.

*deep breath* I think I'll leave the panic for tomorrow.

This hour I ate pizza and established a bit more about my characters.

One reference to the brand of cigarettes Lord Peter smokes already. I have a feeling some readers are going to protest, "But teenagers don't talk like that!" and some readers are going to go, "Oh, yes... that's just what we were like!"

I've been looking for my next prompt to fill, and responding to fb from the prompter for the two commentfic I posted earlier! :-)

Also spent time scraping my windshield so I could move my car. It's a good thing that I happened to look down while I was doing that, and noticed a bulge on my right front tire. Damn, that could've been seriously bad news when I'm barreling down the interstate next weekend! Looks like I'll be getting a new tire on Monday and counting my blessings.
