Round 23.5, Hour 14

One of my LJ friends posted earlier today about attending a Bogart double feature film festival. That reminded me that one of my favourite films, 'To Have and Have Not', has been sitting on the shelf unwatched for far too long.

What film (or book or fic or music) do you like to listen to, which assists or inspires you to write? Or do you prefer the quiet?

Cookies are almost ready. I'll put the kettle on for tea and coffee.

Hmmm... I thought this hour I was supposed to start... Oh well I could never really read the schedule right :D

Last hour I went for a walk to clear my head cause I wrote 1000 words the hour before and now I probably only have a 1000 words left for my smallvillebbang fic but I'm not too sure where this scene is going so I needed to clear my head :D

At the moment MAX is playing in the background, classic 80s YAY :D, but I usually just have the TV going. If I can have the show I'm writing going in the background in generally helps heaps :D

And YAY COOKIES!!!!!!!

Keeping track of the time is always a challenge for me, so Beth is good enough to spell it out carefully for me. I'm planning to stick around until the end of this hour. The next post will be yours, at Hour 15.

Interesting crossover idea! I've written a couple of short stories for jack_built, a BBTheory/A.U. Stargate crossover community fic. Always fun to read and write :)

Ah, well I took a closer look at the schedule and it says that I should start 5pm my time (which is what time it is this hour) but the time zones got Beth a little confused cause I'm 11 hours ahead at the moment so I should start at 6 and run til midnight (I should have had an afternoon nap :D).

I listen to Bon Iver most of the time when I write. But I do love me some 80s rock, but not for writing lol.
