Me: "Ugh! Ahhhhh! Ghuhhh... come out of there! This instant!"
Muse, from under the couch: "No."
Me: "Please... I've got writing to do. Stories to finish. Letters to draft."
Muse, wallowing deeper under the furniture: "Not my problem."
Me: "It IS your problem! I need you to help me.."
Muse, disgusted: "When was the last time you vacuumed under here? *achoo!*"

*sigh*

I hear the musical sound of clickity-clack keyboards singing in the darkness... but it might be the sound of jelly babies rattling down the black hole that someone dropped on the floor. Watch your step!

LOL that sounds like me and my muse except instead of cleaning it's fanfic. It keeps going "look at this pretty fanfic" and I keep saying "but I need to write this fic, it's due on Friday."

I think I'm going to have to make a deal with it. Every 500 words I'll read one fanfic. We'll see if that makes my muse cooperate :D
