Round 23, Hour 25

The halfway point for the round is NOW, right at the beginning of Hour 25! That's right, we are halfway done! You could tell us about all your great accomplishments in the first half, but that's the past! We want to know the future. So, tell us about all your great accomplishments in the second half of the 'rush. Yes, the second half hasn't happened yet, but that just means we won't be hampered by pesky details like facts or the truth. Personally, I'm going to write 1,000 words between now and Hour 34, and then I plan to get nominated for the Pulitzer Prize around Hour 46. How about you?

I plan to write at least 500 words in the second half but that plan may or may not come into reality as I have a friend coming over. Perhaps I can get some writing done with good old fashioned pencil and paper while we are off watching movies or drinking tea.

My partner got back from having to work all day Saturday (boo!) and I took her out to dinner (yay!) Now I'm staring at my Scrabble tiles and wondering if I should go watch an episode to re-tune the character voices.

You'll learn in the future how the 23 alien fish got into your bathtub. As for whether they're carnivorous, I don't want to give away the surprise.

My future Pulitzer Prize is impressive, but I think I'm going to have to decline the nomination. Something about endangering people with carnivorous fish. Politics, what can you do?

I'm waiting on dinner, and then I'm going to do some research. About whether the Bruins can beat the Islanders to get an 8 game winning streak. Probably I will be writing in intermissions. I have the house to myself and I'm going to enjoy it. And there is totally hockey in the story I'm working on. Just not that much. ;)
