Many of the newer writers don't know you, having joined the comm during rounds when you weren't as active. If you respond to their comments and offer them support, you may find them more likely to engage with you in turn.

I've lost over 20 pounds since moving, largely due to the vast amounts of raw veggies she puts in my lunch. I'm not complaining! (Just being evil for a day.)

Ooof! No writing this morning, too many other adventures being had. Culminating in a truly excellent Spitzenberg apple at the farmer's market across the street from us. Fortified, I return to my white-water rafting scene.

Just in the winter! Around the corner and across the street from us is an old Armory and it hosts arts and community events. Saturdays are winter farmer's market. Also, there was a cider doughnut. As my companions were respectively vegan and gluten-intolerant, I was coerced into eating the doughnut so they could enjoy it vicariously. Naturally I protested hardly at all.
