Are you writing, or do I have to release the purple zombie penguins?

Because you don't want to know what will happen then. It will involve lots of blood on the walls, and incoherent words. Also, possibly a picnic with some of that nice cheese that you've always liked. And maybe a glowstick to play with. Not a purple one, though. A green one. Ha ha, take that!

So far this weekend, I've written a very very long thoughtful overdue comment to a post (about 1200 words!), and a blog post (about 700 words), and I've beta read a fic and made two new LOLMacs. I've also had a nap. For someone who isn't accomplishing much I'm actually get a fair amount done.

My list now tells me I should now either revise a chunk of novella or do more terribly overdue editing/beta stuff. Or watch TV.

Sorry to do this to you, but my LJ account has very suddenly disappeared. I can't get to my journal, and I can't leave comments. I've opened a support request, but I suspect it might take awhile before whatever the problem is gets fixed.

Good news: I seem to be able to comment with my Dreamwidth account using OpenID. Bad news: I can't make a new post to this comm with it. Can you see if you can authorize "dbskyler.dreamwidth.org" to post? Or if that doesn't work, I'm going to have to ask for someone to take over the rest of my mod shift, at least as far as the posts are concerned. Sorry!

Did you see my other comment farther down? I can't see your LJ either. Have you tried the 'post to this community' link at the top of this page?

Try joining this comm under your DW ID. Let me know if you're able to do that.

Yep, I saw it, but not until after I posted the comment. (It takes awhile to post, because I have to do a captcha.) I just successfully joined the comm, which required several steps to verify me, and a few more captchas. But I now see a "post to community" button! Yay! Let me see if it works.

I'm not surprised you can't see my journal either, because I can see everything except for my own stuff. I get the same "error 500" message, and when I try to leave a comment with my LJ account, I get an error message and an advisory to try opening a support request.

Good to know for the future, also. LOLMac has members with OpenIDs, but this is the first time I've needed to try it for a comm. Excellent!

I tried OpenID in desperation, because LJ wasn't working. And it literally dropped out from under me in the space of a minute or two. I suspect there's a geographical server problem somewhere, because I have the same problem with my second, secret LJ account that I opened for interactions that require divulging my RL identity. There is no surface connection between that account and my regular account -- different names, different email contact addresses -- but both are down. Although I suppose it could be some sort of IP address blocking at work, too. Anyway, it's very weird, and I hope it gets resolved soon!
