There are no distractions.  You have forgotten that Facebook and Tumblr and computer games and telly exist.  The blank pages are all ready to be filled up, yesssss . . .

I am lying here in bed with my cat, surfing the internet one-handed because she's sleeping on the other hand. It's quite comfortable, but I really ought to get up now. It's 1 pm, I've been awake for hours, and I haven't had anything to eat yet.

But she's so cute.

Oh, dear, I'm waffling over the ending to my werewolf story now. It's a shame to toss out the terrible pun I wanted to end it with, but it's too, too jarring. I think most people would hate it, where at first I thought lightening the tragic mood might be a good thing.

Not so much. Pity.

Hmmm. It's for a more or less serious comm, isn't it? You may have to save the terrible pun for another story.

Need a beta? Is it Jack/Daniel, or some other pairing I've actually heard of?

spook_me stories can go whatever direction the author wants. The mods love genuinely chilling stuff, but anything goes.

Shall I send it to you without the pun? I think you'll see that it would not be such a good idea. It is J/D. :-)
