Round 22, Hour 14

Pitry sat in front of her laptop, looking sad. She meant to participate in this round of fic_rush, but the Giraffes had stolen all of her creativity for the weekend. Not to mention embarked on what sounded like a harmonica recital under her window. Pitry scoffed at the thought - after all, the one good part of Jerusalem being an overly religious, intolerant city was that Saturdays were, generally, quiet.

And so, Pitry thought to herself, "what should I do? Should I allow my lack of creativity to effect fic_rush?" But she then said, "NO!"

And went to greet her fellow fic_rushers into 5 hours of modding in which she would do her best to brainwash the unsuspecting crowds.

But she did not forget to put her new Giraffe icon at the top of the post. Just in case.

I'm here, I'm in the universal condition of the early twentieth century writer (hungover... thank you for asking), I'm ready to stare blankly at a page for a while.

Maybe a brisk writing exercise to kick things off. If I can think of a brisk writing exercise in which to engage.

I always find the "write notes to your fandoms as if they were your significant others / romantic partners" exercise ...interesting. Sometimes disturbing. But brisk! Definitely brisk. XD

Somehow it's always Hour 5, isn't it? Instead of going missing, I see it happened twice this time around.

This is actually Hour 15. Possibly that's what happened to your creativity! It's been waiting for you, and you've been looking in the wrong hour!

Oh, and I'm awake. That danged Time Police siren is loud.
