Okay, I hope I'm doing this right.

Hi! New here! I'm looking forward to working my fanny off today. I was doing great writing wise, but I managed to get derailed and spent the last few weeks... doing nothing. I hope this helps me get back in gear!

Had breakfast, my husband is out the door and he'll be gone for the day, my daughter has her projects going, and I am now opening documents. Think I'll start with some research on 1948...

Decided to change the idea of one fic, so scrapping whole beginning and writing a new one.
So, I think my word count just went on the minus side...

I have a friend who says that as long as you wrote the words, you can keep them in your wordcount even if you delete them. I don't do it myself much, but it does sound vaguely encouraging... :-)

I'm up and heading for a pot of coffee. I'm going to continue to work on my fanmix post for a big bang and then I'll probably take a break and do some house chores. (Sadly, the brownies are boycotting this establishment, so I'm going to have to take over).

I totally read that as being the edible chocolate sort, and promptly imagined them on strike, with picket signs written in frosting. ...clearly I need my breakfast, and/or more sleep. :-)

Well, those sort haven't been around for a while, either. But as you guessed, I meant the little guys from Fairie, who will do household chores in exchange for a saucer of milk. They really need a union. Hey, maybe they're on strike, and that's why they haven't been around the old home place.
