I've been up just over an hour, haven't had breakfast yet, and am in some pain from a borked knee, BUT I have just opened up Word to re-read what I've written of a Fifth Doctor and Martha fic that I promised to dbskyler and lost_spook...

If the pain and general work-and-pain-induced knackeredness don't get to me too much, I shall be attempting to finish writing said fic this weekend.

Ah, well I don't watch Law and Order: UK but I do love the Doctor and I do love Martha :D I really want to watch the older Doctor Who's, when I get a chance :D

I've never watched any other Law & Order franchise, but having loved Freema as Martha, I decided to watch the UK franchise for her sake, and quickly fell in love (especially with her co-star Ben Daniels)!

I feel you on the editing. I just finished editing 12 pages of zombiebang and cut it down to 10. Now to finish up the story!

This was a mini bang, thankfully. min. word count is 5k, otherwise, I so would not be able to finish it in time. Lol, I neglected it a bit. Whoops.

Very true. I'm already past the 5k mark. It's just a matter of ending the fic. I hate writing endings. I suck at it. Lol.

I'm sure you don't suck at endings :D Personally I think I'm not great with beginnings but then again I think every author has something that they don't think that they're great at.

And I'm sure I can do it. My main worry is that my beta isn't going to get it to me in time so that I can go through everything she has to put in before I have to send it in. God I hope she's emailing me right now with.

I've gotten better with beginnings. I usually like to leave open ended endings. It's just meshes better with my writing style. And you're right. :D

Ah, I have the same worry for rpf_big_bang since she's editing a ton of bigbangs other than mine and writing her own, but the final draft isn't due for another few weeks, so I'm not too worried yet.

Well my beta's iffy for weeks now. Complaining that I didn't give it to her in enough time, even though I her over half the fic at beginning of the month. Last week I got down on my knees and begged telling her that I couldn't finish if she didn't beta (cause having a beta's one of the two requirements of big bang) and she said she would have it done in 2 days. That was 4 days ago, so I'm a little worried. Tomorrow I'll be panicking. Though I didn't really mean for this to come out like all I can do is complain about her, she a lovely girl. Nice enough to beta for me and very lovely. I just need her to be emailing me soon :D

I love Up too and I love Doug which is why I had to have that icon :D
