Another two pages of editing/rewriting done on zombiebang. I really hate editing, but I have to send this to my artist by tomorrow, so. Blahh. XD

I swear, editing is one of the hardest things to do, but almost one of the most important. Keep working at it -- you'll get through it! And just imagine those lovely zombie pictures you'll get at the end. :D

You speak the truth! Lol. Yeah, well, my friend and I came up with Reverse Jenga to make the editing process at bit easier. (Take each paragraph, knock it over, and build it back up again to make sure it flows well.)

Look at it this way -- you just gave your fic two pages' worth of improvement! I'm also a firm believer in the idea that we have to write the bad stuff in order to write well. Those two pages had to be there at first, but now they've served their purpose, and you're well rid of them.

You're right. That particular plot line didn't fit and wasn't plausible anyway. Improvement! Finished with the editing, now to finish the actual fic. 10 pages worth of edits. XD No more editing tonight. XD

I got 2 pages this hour. It's slow work but I only have time to go through the 118 pages worth of fic twice. Once now and once when I get my beta's notes back (please email it to me soon).

(Although 78 pages sounds like a lot to me, too. My typical fic is less than 20 pages.)

I know right :O It's the longest oneshot I've ever written. It's 40 000 words long :O. I'm still shocked by that. The good thing is though, I'm really enjoying what I've written and haven't found the need to do anything major to it. I think I'd die if I hated it after spending the last 4 months writing it.

I never write multichaptered fics for bigbangs. I don't write that way anymore because I tend to lose interest too fast. So AU, RPF, and Zombie so far are all oneshots. I just split them because of LJ's posting limits, lol.

Well at least I'm not alone. I get bored with multichapters more than oneshots which is why I made it a oneshot. I'm editing for my het_bigbang fic, writing for my smallvillebbang fic and planning my cwbigbang fic. I'm doing far too many big bangs.

Nah, I see the purpose I think I'd rather write split it when necessary though, I have 3 WIPs that I can't write cause I'm bored with them. Where's the fun in that?

Don't you love dead lines :D I can't believe how daunting it is. het_bigbang was my first and I can't believe it has to be handed in tomorrow. Completely scared out of my mind.

Same. I tend to have a one track mind when writing and have to have it all written out at once and see it all in a linear format rather than in chapters. I used to write like that, but now it bothers me and I get bored too easily and then feel guilty about abandoning WIPs. No fun at all in that.

My first was au_bigbang and I was so scared and excited and just flaily about it. It was awesome. It's been posted already. My second is rpf_big_bang which is in my beta's inbox right now. :D

Well, if you want to know about copying-and-pasting from the future, that came from an idea of faster-than-light writing, where readers could read what you'd written before you'd written it, then tell you what you wrote.
