It's Hour 4! Tell us what you've been up to. Or what you're going to be up to. Or what you wish you were going to be up to. Don't worry, it's just the internet; no one will tell.
Having been up for some hours, it has now been made clear to me that it's time to go back to bed. Thanks so much for taking over the ship -- see you later in the weekend!
PS. The penguins are most diverting. I think I'm going to send the ducks back, though. I've had to deal with too many quacks already this week.
Wow, well done! As long as you're still writing well and don't have to get up too early in the morning, I'd say keep going. Momentum is a precious thing.
Well, I'm a bit sick (cold) and I do have to be up before 8:30 as trainer is coming at 9 to kick my butt into gear (for insurrection and general mayhem readiness.) but yes, momentum is good. Especially because action scenes are hard and this is mostly all boxing action.
Hmm. Well in that case, maybe you just decide now when you want to go to bed? Give yourself a hard stop so you get enough rest, but allow yourself to keep writing until then if you can.
I think that's a new problem with LJ -- it seems to be much more difficult to post links in comms now. Which might prevent spamming, but also prevents part of the point of the comms . . .
Can you direct us to the link without posting the link? Maybe with "hxxp" in place of "http" or something?
I didn't expect to do any writing this weekend, but I had some time this morning and an idea that decided it was ready to go, so I've done 300 words. One drabble and one double-drabble, so 300 words is more progress than it maybe sounds like.
Now I just need two more drabbles, and I'll have what I arbitrarily decided would be the full set. Or one double-drabble, but I kinda like the shape the set is now, with one double at the beginning and one double at the end and all singles in between.
Either way, I'm feeling good about it. There was one particular idea I couldn't figure out how to work in, and the set would have been incomplete without it, so it had me worried; but that was the double-drabble this morning so I'm good now.
This is a side-community for fic_rush, where we post our hourly posts during rounds. If you've wandered in here by accident, you'll want to go there instead.
If you're with fic_rush and have just shown up, look for most recent hourly post.
I solemnly swear that I am up to no good

Date: 2011-09-24 03:25 am (UTC)um... as I was saying... I've spent the last three hours being distracted by the pony creator on DevArt:
