I'll soon be handing reins over to the unimpeachable pitry, but I've had such a lovely time swimming in the rushing waters of Fic_Rush with y'all! Now I can get down and try to put some virtual ink on some virtual pages.

I woke up this morning with writer's hangover. I thought for sure I'd use up ALL THE WORDS EVER yesterday. But a little caffeine and some Beadz playing and I started to feel better.

Usagi Yojimbo is a great graphic novel. The rhino's name is Gen (Murakami Gennosuke). He's a tough character, but Usagi (the rabbit, Miyamoto Usagi) is most certainly Kick. Ass. :)

I just might have to look for Usagi Yojimbo. I loved the classic movie Yojimbo and other samurai films that Toshiro Mifune did and this looks like a similar flavor.

She really is! It's amazingly helpful to be able to pose questions to this comm while mid-research. And yes, actually I'd like both of you here to help me sort/drink/unpack/make smart decisions about keeping and chucking.

Apparently it's known as MI-5 because 'spooks' is a racist term in some parts of the US, or so I understand.

And, yay, Spooks!!! :-) (Any particular reason why Spooks and why 7.01? And, you know, not Harry and Ruth on-a-bus, or Harry and Ruth in corridors?)

Oh yes - I keep forgetting that. :(

It was 7.01 because I came across the S7 DVD someone on my FList did for me when I couldn't get hold of the library's boxset for over a week - and I found it in an envelope containing a host of random DVDs people have done for me at various times while I was looking for 'Gulliver in Lilliput' featuring Lis Sladen. (I also have the entire series of Ultraviolet - but have only watched one ep of that - apparently it didn't catch fire - or the person oppressing me wasn't as good as you!)

Also, I don't remember which eps (exactly feature Harry & Ruth on a bus, or in corridors - despite having an icon of the latter!)

Spooks is just that awesome, of course - once you'd watched the first ep or two and found out that anyone could get deep fried, how could you stop? ;-D

And, ah, I see. Still, S7 is v good, despite the absence of Ruth. And I am a total sad Spooks fan: the bus one is 4.09 and notable corridor scenes are in 4.10, & 5.04.

Actually, I found the bus one - by Googling for "Spooks Harry and Ruth +bus" - and laughed quite a bit when it came up with a You Tube video as the first hit. I didn't expect to find it so easily...
