I chunked out 1,757 words in the last hour, on an original short story. But I'm going to have to throw it to a reader soon to see if there's anything there at all. I feel like it's still a character sketch, a prelude to the good part.

Arrgh! I have found an awesome picture of ninja pigs, but I can't seem to post a link because the community keeps marking it as screened. Stupid LJ.

Anyway, go to Google Image and type in "ninja pigs" and see what you get. Go ahead, do it! I'll wait.

I was going to be all excited that this hour was NINJA PIG hour, but now we're almost to next hour, which will be ninja animal-that-begins-with-a-q hour. But then again, we haven't been adhering to a strict progression, so maybe we can have ninja pigs next hour, too.
