Saw psychiatrist, altered prescription, fetched new meds, have gotten sleep deprivation levels down to merely "the room is vibrating" instead of "why am I not hallucinating yet" which I'm counting as a win. The underlying cause of the sleep deprivation (disruptive housemate who keeps trying to break my door down for imagined offenses) is not gone yet but maybe the new meds will get me by until her housing transfer which is supposedly in the works shall come through.

(we live in county-run housing for people who are too disabled to make rent but abled enough to not need round-the-clock onsite staff. it's a regular house in a residential neighborhood so I have my own bedroom with a lock and a window, and it passes the traditional definition of not living in an institution aka I can get up and microwave a burrito at 3am if I want, so it's a really nice setting except for this one person. They tell me she should be out within a few weeks but they've been saying that for a few weeks so I'm just trying to hang on.)
