My soda is gone and my ice cubes are melting. I'm starting to envy the kitties sleeping on their cat-tree.

You'll do splendidly, I'm sure. I was (and am) still rather anxious about doing a good job, but it has been a very good experience. While I'm not actually writing on my dusty unfinished fics, I have been writing more in the past four hours than I have for months. It feels pretty good.

The folk here in Fic_rush are excellent company!

I am here (mostly waving at belantana in a burst of scary excitement) but have added to my lack of brain state with not quite enough sleep, so I should be here cheerleading (and hair-pulling, obv.) but may be even more intermittent, incoherent and badly typed than usual.

Or is that usual? Actually, I think that's pretty usual.

Watch those penguins. They are known for trying to dig tunnels to escape. Don't let Rico near the cutlery.
