cascading system failure

(woke up Tuesday already crying from pain; was able to knock that down to functioning levels, but not before the tears irritated one eye badly enough I can neither open it more than halfway nor keep it closed, which is making it very difficult to pay attention to anything, especially if it needs depth perception)

(urgent care tomorrow unless it clears itself up overnight)
