Coffee is good! Victory is good! (Victory without embarrassing riots is expecially good.)
Writing suggestions that work are bliss. So is recovery of inadvertently erased documents, and congratulations on that also. Is everything backed up today?
Oh shoot, thank you for reminding me. All I have to do is plug in an external hard-drive. So of course, that happens as often as it should. *rolls eyes*.
Victory, no embarrassing riots, and no Aussies making out in the street (well. Only a little bit, and I was upright the whole time.) The only down side is I totally can't draw on any negative energy for the whole protest-crowd-jostle scene I'm writing, because everyone was soooo mellow and nice (for Boston) today.
Thank you for asking that! I wish I had happy productivity to report. I don't, but there's still time. (The truth is, I've been crawling back up from a full-blown depressive attack that caught me completely by surprise.)
And I don't see anything wrong with Aussies making out in the street when there's sufficient inspiration.
Oh, surprise depressive attack. The best kind. I'm glad the black dog is letting go its grip on you to the extent that you can crawl back up. If there's any interim mood-boosting I can provide, say the word. (Will and have written fic for less.)
Missy has been beating it with all available sticks, and I finally recognised the monster and applied some pharmaceutical assistance. But that's why I wasn't very talkative during my modding shift last night. I think the sucker had been sneaking up for at least three or four days. Devious little bastard.
Oh man. It's one of those things that just makes sense in retrospect. So good to hear Missy was taking good care of you! And now hopefully you'll be able to chew off a bit of writing for the weekend. (In between babysitting moderating shifts!
I actually do have a couple of possible short projects that I'd like to attempt. At the moment, I'm working on a friend's tax return, because the horrid thing has been looming and it's time I took it down. The work engages the mind without requiring the same creative charge that writing needs.
