ran out of the first chunk of mystery handspun, looked at how much was left compared to before starting, looked at how far I'd gotten, swore, shoved the lot back into its bag while I figure out whether I'm amending my plan in a way that won't require frogging back to the original slip knot yet again

now working on a set of fingerless mitts that use cabling to create an owl design
