Morning all! (Also evening, afternoon and night, to those of you in different time zones)

I'll be your mod for the next few hours. We seem not to be under attack by any unusual - or alien for that matter - fauna this morning, but given that my current writing project involves hermit elephants there's no guarantee of anything.

I'm here. And I even wrote a ficlet! A whole 560 words! I'm not sure I'm happy with it, though. Now I need to go on reading papers. Or write another ficlet. Or work on this one some more. Or go wash my hair.

Oooh, I'm planning on having more words today. Possibly. I've decided what I really need to do is to outline the 5 or so stories that have been sitting in my head for a while to locate where the holes in the plot that stop me from actually writing them down are! So I might not end up with a lot of words today, but I should be getting a start. I hope.

Sadly my tiny pastries do not have chocolate in them, they do however have jam and are quite tasty.

Planning and plotting things out are always good too. I'm never that organised when it comes to plots, I just end up with half-written stories that never get finished due to plot holes.
