I'm at work and just finished my cup of morning tea. Not quite sure what I'll be up to today. It's Friday (bless) and I have a seminar to attend in a couple hours. What are you all up to (or planning to be up to) today?

One of my co-workers gave me some peanut butter cups and kit kats, so this work day is going great.

I'm surreptitiously jotting down ideas for what I want to write tonight after work. What are you (surreptitiously or not) doing this hour?

The seminar has been cancelled! Or, rather, postponed until next week. Hmm, what shall I do with this unexpected extra hour?

Made some progress on getting a piece of lab equipment here repaired. Always love seeing movement on things like that, which can get stuck at various points thanks to bureaucracy.

More progress on my equipment repair. I have a quote for the replacement part and now I can put in the order. Feels nice for a Friday, LOL.

Order's in and hopefully that means we'll receive our replacement part next week so we can get our lab instrument back up and running. Whew.

I finished rewriting the climactic scene of my novel... I still need to restructure the rest of it, but I figured out at least one character thing I hadn't known before, which is going to help a lot with the continuing rewrites.

How are your words wording? Has there been writerly laundry or pasta? Has anyone spotted any spotted penguins? ^_^
