Fic Rush 48

Hola from hour 6! Whatcha up to? Very nearly bedtime for me.

Here we go: Round 81 has officially started. 48 hours of writing or procrastinating from writing, penguins (some of them ninjas), and lots of coffee (for whom it may concern) lie ahead. For those of you working a nightshift like me, I have plenty of beer, if that helps. If not, forget I mentioned it ;-)

Check in and let me know of your plans, your actual creative achievements, or whatever else you feel like sharing. I, for one, forgot that I signed up for Yuletide and will spend the weekend trying to figure out how to still produce a beautiful fic. If I can do that (and I will succeed!), you can sure meet your goals, too.

Umm, oops. I had changed the time zone on everything except my phone, which is my alarm clock!

If you've been doing anything more productive than sleeping (not that I didn't need it badly) come and let me know.

I'm usurping!! Pretty sure we're up to hour 25. What's up with your writing tonight? How are the efforts going?

I heard of words being written last time I was here—I hope we kept up the good work?

I struggled all day to figure out my Yuletide fic until I changed tactics and focused on a completely different fandom. I'm actually feeling the excitement now, whee!

And now this post is mine by right! The usurpation is over. What's up out there in the field of writers? Words flowing? Endings ending and beginnings beginning?

Guess it's just me here, huh.

A few words were reported to me, and I got another 350-ish to add. What else is good, dear rushers? Where are you all, anyway? It's suspiciously quiet around here.

ETA: It seems we skipped an hour, but we should be back on track with counting them now. I assume, the ninja penguins stole it, hah!

ETA #2: Turns out the penguins didn't steal an hour nor do we have seemed to skip one. It was just my brain being a weird blob of stupid.

Hour 28! 20 hours to go! What are we gonna do with this hour? Something splendid?
