I miraculously managed to submit my a ridiculous 1.058 words long fic for Yuletide. I know I'll have to go back, and I know I want to add a little to it, but considering that a mere ten hours ago, I didn't have the slightest clue what to do (and that it's 4:18 am now), I'm quite satisfied with the outcome and will leave it at this for now. I simply can't string any more words together tonight.
Thank you! I do feel like I achieved something indeed. It's not my best work, but it's definitely solid and nothing to be ashamed of or that feels not good enough for an exchange.
And yes, off to bed I am. I guess we'll meet again tomorrow :o)
It does! Knit swiftly and with great confidence that you can always wrap up one sock and tell the recipient that santa's waiting to see if they stay nice.
He knows that I'm knitting them (He's got slightly unusually shaped feets, so it helps to just try them on every so often), and I've already told him he's getting them as the Traditional Knitter's Gift (unfinished, in a box, with an IOU). Just... it would be nice if they were nearly done at least. :D
