Good morning Fic Rush, it's the Tea & Usurpation Hour!

My tea has some sort of berry in it, it's very good! My plan to is to start writing something soon-ish, when I get some toast to go with this tea. Not a big plan, but doable.

It's hour 9, and I named it: Tea & Usurpation: The Toast Edition!

Well, to be precise, I toasted whatever bread I happened to have, and it's not looking like a proper toast but as long as the flavor is good, that's all that matters.

I've been trying to start a fic but it seems like I'm not coming up with any ideas, huh. Maybe I go look at my WIP pile instead, and see if I would feel like continuing some old stories. I am committed to write this weekend!

It's true, it's true: I heard from nobody for a full hour. An hour I spent reading a bad review for my last translation and then throwing a pity-party for myself ^.^ So cheer me up, folks. I know there are solid stories out there, written just in this moment: simple words strung together to create beautiful sentences. Share them with us?

We have accomplished a factory reset on a smart phone, which has been demoted from that title, having proved that it is not even remotely clever.

Good evening everyone.

I appear to have about 500 words of Yuletide fic, but not in any particular order, at least at the paragraph level - it's like one of those school exercises where you have to rearrange the sentences to make the story make sense.

But at least I'm starting to believe that I might have 1000 words and at least a beginning and a middle by the morning - my stories, like my essays, never do have an end, they just stop!

Anyone else in a last minute rush? Any sensible people who got everything written weeks ago? Let us know how you're getting on!

It's the middle of the night for many of our fic_rushers, and getting a little late in the day for me, too. But for those of us who are still awake, maybe hitting a nice round number like 30 will inspire a beautiful burst of productivity? I don't know; if I knew how to engineer these things, I wouldn't be so far behind today.
