Fic Rush 48

Greetings, fic_rushers!

I made a solemn Fic Rush oath to write more today than yesterday - you would think this was reckless, but considering I didn't write any fic related words yesterday, I trust I can hold to my promise. I have a word doc open and everything, that's a great start.

Also, everyone knows that breaking Fic Rush oaths is not wise - actually, I'm not sure what happens, but I don't dare to risk it! :D

So off I go, to write! How fare you, on this Sunday morning?

One hour down, and I still haven't gotten any fic words together, uups. Though I have written several long emails to friends, so I would like to think that was good achivement for this past hour!

Everyone is asleep it seems, but that's alright, I'll turn the Fic Rush light to the 'night time' setting. I'll type quietly, and if anyone wants to come tell me how they are doing, feel free! :)

Now we have hit the portion of the Round that answers all the questions neatly, properly and incomprehesibly all at once: Why does the tea go cold? When will my Muse come back from vacation? Why does pasta stick to walls if cooked right? Will I ever achieve my dream of being a foot-massage therapist for a secret underground military organization? Why does that Guy with the Blue Box never land in my yard?

Okay, so the 'actual' answer is mind-boggling. It makes no sense. But then, not much about reality does really. *Grins* all we can do at this point is drink the tea before it gets cold, yank the Muse off Their vacay early and set down words about whatever strikes our fancy! We can make the pasta never stick! We can write ourselves in as heroic massage-therapists who regularly travel with a Guy in a Blue Box whenever we aren't relieving the arch-pain of Important Men in a Secret Underground Military Complex!

Be creative! Be proud! And don't slouch like that, it is bad for your posture.

Write, write, write - and share, share, share! The answer has already been given. All we have to do is make sense of it. Discussion, questions and pasta-throwing is encouraged in the comments below...

Everything seems to be quiet and calm here in the Fic Rush land, so I won't make much noise this time.

Other than to tell you that I've managed something like a hundred words to a fic - it doesn't look like much yet, I know, but one step forwards is always one step forward.

The greatest of Life's Questions has been hashed over. Lunch has been consumed. Tea drunk. Words have been poked at with a pointy stick and Muses have been rounded up to place them neatly upon the page. Time has been lost as well, but I'm sure we'll find those missing minutes within the Round ~~somewhere~~.

Whilst we search, though, we can still try to get our various creative works to behave properly! Tell me about your techniques. Or just share cupcake-thingie (with sprinkles) recipes. Nothing like a shot of unnecessary sugar to jitter those lines across the documents pages!

Finally released from the horrors of work, our hero finds herself tangled in a sick, sleepy five year old. Quick write her escape!

And now we have arrived safely and softly to the hour 37, I hope everyone has had pleasant time - whatever it is that you are doing, such as sleeping, or writing?

I have gathered another hundred words or so, though I'm not sure if all these words are to be kept in this fic... But that is something to think while editing! Maybe another hundred words more? Now that we got going :)
