USURPATION!

Hello there! I'm juliet316, your mod for the next couple of hours and defender of any and all pinstriped fish in the land! How is everybody doing? I hear rumors of coffee being sighted and plants suddenly deciding to laugh at people.

This is my second and presumably last hour of usurpation. seriesfive should be coming along for the next hour.

Things seem to be running smoothly. The pinstriped alien fish are being defended, coffee is being found, along with various things to go with it, and the laughing plants have thus far resisted eating people.

So how's the writing coming amidst all this?

So... another fine hour of fic rush has begun. Apparently usurpation will continue this evening with pitry being away later today.
I had a nice breakfast and have given my WIP folder some serious stares while others have been far more productive with writing and digital spring cleaning...

Hear Ye, Hear Ye!!

As your new Queen for the next few hours, I have some rules of the Fandom to impart:

1) A being may not be discriminated against on the basis of it's Penguin ancestry, nor the Functionality of its wings, in the realms of Marriage, ownership of Fish, access to Ocean waters, or drunken dancing.

2) Plants are forbidden to laugh, unless something funny has occurred.

3) All ships captained by household appliances may sail in these Waters with immunity.

4) All lemurs more than a mile high... well, they can just carry on as usual.

5) Let all the Fic be WRITTEN!!!!!  (And regale us with updates on your life this hour!)

Fellow Rushers are getting ready to go to bed while others are getting up, grabbing themselves some coffee or tea. This is something I really love about our fic rush weekend - following how people spend their days with writing and working and so on...

In my corner of the globe it's late morning now. It's still foggy and we have a very persistent, fine rain. I'm going to do my laundry during the next hour and I still have to open my WIP folder. What are your plans for this new hour?

Need I say it? How about another lemur? I think this one either needs a coffee or an aspirin. :D

State of the Fandom Address:

The Plants have been watered, and are much more agreeable now that the sun is up.  I have showered AND deep conditioned my hair: productive!Xavia is productive!  Breakfast has been achieved by many and Sundry, and Crowley is crooning somewhere in the corner.  Due to the tireless efforts of koala and lemur activists alike, vanilla and eucalyptus are now legal throughout all the Land.  Oh, and some of us have opened our WIP ('werebunnies in progress' in Xavian) folders.

My sources indicate I'm still usurping!  What a glorious regime!  Although I do believe this shall be my last hour of reign.  Such is life.

On the bright side, there has been much deliberation by people of potentially starting something maybe.  I can't wait to watch what flowers!  Meanwhile, it seems one of my new favourite pairings has a ship captain from the Toaster clan of Appliancia.
