I am hereby usurping the rest of lolmac's shift!

Would anyone like to join me? What else shall we usurp? MS Word? It's been causing me problems, and I'd love to take it down! The internet? That ninja penguin in the corner?

Just make sure that your characters don't start trying to usurp your fic, unless of course that's your evil plan.

Which reminds me, now that my usurpation has begun, I need an evil plan. Any suggestions?

A shiny new hour, full of promise!  We have rumours of tangled yarn, entanglements of plot, and plot bunnies of an unusually fierce breed.  The ninja penguins are standing by in case rescue is needed!

We have reports of Much Distraction.  I am sending out the ninja pirates to distract the distractions so we can actually focus on somethi -- SQUIRREL!!

Welcome to Hour 6 of fic_rush, otherwise known as Hour 2 of Usurpation_Rush!

I am in my second and last hour of usurpation. Of course, all usurpations require an evil plan.

This usurpation's evil plan is to take down MS Word by writing so many words this weekend, we will force it into submission!

Failing that, we will surely write enough words to dominate the galaxy. Or find our way to the Kingdom of Fic That Writes Itself.

Perhaps we will accomplish all three! There's only one way to find out!

Round 43, Hour 4

The plot bunnies seem to have fallen back, but now the ninja pirate penguins have made common cause with the rampant squirrels, and they're all dancing inscrutable hornpipes on the deck of the galleon.  At least that should distract the little beggars for a bit.  Later on, we'll all have cookies with oolong tea.
