Hello, I am your mod for this fine morning (/noon/ afternoon/ evening/ night), and I want a lion too!

Camels suck. Seriously. If you have a camel in your story, throw it out before the story progresses any further. Camels bark at you! And are very unpleasant and intimidating, especially when you're 12 years old. And then you lot who are used to 'beware moose!' and 'beware deer!' kind of road signs, do you have any idea how ridiculous 'beware camel!' roadsigns are???

Also, the Kiswahili word for lion is Simba. I have no idea what the word for camel is. So lion >>>>>> camel.

Good morning rushers, and if it's not morning where you are, good not morning!

You know that scene in The Lion King where the kid lion is jumping on the daddy lion and biting his ear to try and wake him up. Well, that's what's going on between the resident penguins and I this morning :P

In my defense, I was up half the night writing.

What are the local zoological inhabitants of Fic Rush doing to try and get you to write?

No woes for me (unless you count these ones - in which case all the words). Anyone else have any success or are the bunny population stealing all the words?

This post is a bit early because I have just been summoned for lunch, revel in the illusion of an extra five minutes ;)

Hour 21 is like the Witching Hour for fic. It doesn't mean fic gets written in Hour 21, just that it... magically appears. The downside, of course, is that once the hour is over it magically disappears. So be careful not to write anything TOO good this hour. This will end in tears.

... And camels.

Hold on to your words! They're about to disappear.

For me, what disappeared was my motivation to cook. So I've been eating progressingly bizarre things in order to avoid both starvation and cooking. Bleh.

Hullo Fic_Rushers! I almost didn't make it here in time because I've been out playing in the rain. RAIN! Sweet beautiful rain. It should be snow, at this time of year, but it's been a long, dry winter and I welcome it.

Who doesn't like hour 27? Hour 3 cubed! That means there may be some time and space going on up in here.

I have a surprise weekend house party, which is what happens when someone who isn't me invites a friend over for dinner on the Friday of Snowpocalypse 2013 and that person can't ever get back to their house a mile away. But that won't stop me from finding time to write! How about you, how's this hour treating you?
