Welcome to fic_rush!  This is your quiet sanctuary (well, kind of quiet.  Kinda sorta.  Relatively.), where you can retreat from all the holiday fuss and bother, and just write.  (Although we can't guarantee that the weekend will be entirely free of holiday activity, we shall attempt to restrict it to underappreciated holidays such as International Penguin Day, ConfettiFest, Fish!Frolic!Supreme! and the Feast of the Twenty-Seven Avian Life-Forms From Alternate Universes.)

Round 24, Hour 2

A whole hour already!  Has anyone actually started to write, or are we still settling ourselves in and quaffing?

In honour of the glorious fiesta of Fish!Frolic!Supreme!, let the fish frolic!  Let there be alien fish canapés, fishcakes, and cockles and mussels!  Let us all drink like fishes!  Let the ink flow in squidly fashion!  That is the fin and tail of it.

Watch out for the red herrings, though.

Plots are being plotted!  Words are being worded!  In other news, we have discovered that tentacles either help you type faster or leave globs of liquid on the keyboard, depending on what kind of tentacled being you happen to be.
